I had lunch at the brasserie which serves mainly pizza. The restaurant is just next to Chexbres train station.
A lovely bakery/cafe. The sunny terrace was the perfect place to appreciate the views, try some of the excellent wine and enjoy the excellent pastry which you purchase at the adjacent bakery. Perfect start to the day exploring the Lavaux Terraces. Recommend

Coffee and croissant on a terrace with a great view over Lac Leman on a cloudless day: a wonderful way to start a day long hike though the World Heritage Site Lavaux vineyards.
Great welcome, excellent service, good food with home-made fresh local products. They have nice salads as well.
EXTREMELY nice staff! Good beer selection. Good wine. Very good food! Bakery fantastic! A great comfortable local place. We will be back.
