The Ermitage, a charming country inn in Chteau-d'Oex, opened its doors under new management and after a major renovation on 20 December 2019. Located in the Pays d'Enhaut, the beautiful mountainous region of the Swiss Alps, the Ermitage offers a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and easy access to a wide range of outdoor activities. The Ermitage is like a family home where guests will receive a warm welcome to the highland region. The restaurant offers a varied menu with a wide choice of local products. In the tea room, visitors can enjoy the traditional afternoon English tea and homemade pastries. Each room has a balcony with a choice of orientations - north or south. The shared spaces are warm and welcoming and include a restaurant, a caf, a wine bar, a reading area, a private dining room and a large terrace with a view. Guests will also find a yoga and pilates room, a mini sauna and a games room.
