Always busy with the local crowd – it’s often difficult to get a table . Good local food with regional wine at value for money pricing Can be noisy and staff seem overworked at times.
One of my favorite restaurants in Europe. Great salad, fondue, perch and fries. The owner and service was delightful. Lovely atmosphere as well.
We had a great meal: green salad and house specialty ‘Malakoff’ (cheese croquettes) to start, followed by excellent lapin à la moutarde, washed down with a bottle of Swiss pinot noir. Great service only confirmed this as the best lakeside bistrot in town
I was there with a group of around a dozen people upon recommendation by a colleague and the fondue (moitié-moitié) was good. We also had the mixed charcuterie platters to start and it was also a good choice with the lard de Begnins.
