Continuing a tradition since 1981 For over 30 years, Caf Restaurant Mohrenkopf has been a popular meeting place in the heart of Zurich's old town at Niederdorfstrasse 31. Its interior design is a winning combination of contemporary style and traditional elements of coffee house culture. The caf serves fresh, home-made pastry, Swiss specialities and seasonal dishes. Among the specialities are freshly made Capuns 'Sursilvans', juicy chicken breast with home-made herb butter and of course the caf's signature dish: a large selection and variety of home-made 'Mohrenkpfe' (chocolate-coated marshmallow treats). The restaurant locates at the centre of Niederdorf. The restaurant is crowd in the evening. The food is good and price is reasonable based on Zurich standard. The waiters are friendly and it is a good dinning experience.
Delicious muesli with yogurt, coffee, and eggs. We met friends here and pricing was good. Service was accommodating, friendly and speedy. Very nice servers and I would come back here. You can also make reservations during busy times.

Nicely situated in the old part of the city this restaurant provided us with a good quality, flavoursome meal at a reasonable price. The service was friendly and efficient and we would definitely go back.
