Food is ok but the service is poor and unfriendly. They don’t manage at all when many people come at the same time and instead of trying their best they get arrogant. A shame for ZurIch.
Stumbled on this place on a Sunday morning as the croissants were being delivered and returned for breakfast. I was lucky to come early, as it is obviously a local favorite and filled up fast. Great place to start the morning.
I stayed overnight close to that place and started to have a beer only. Next morning a good breakfast and then in the evening a delicious dinner. Very nice place with an alternative style, offering newspapers, good food and atmosphere
Little gem in Zürich. Best on Sunday afternoon, especially on a sunny day. Cool, simple, alternative crowd and the BEST schale (milk coffe) in the entire universe! Also, the cakes are super tasty! Beyond that, the staff is always smiling and happy 🙂 love it!
The lunch menu and the pastries were amazing. Simple and very tasty. I love the casual style. You feel home away from home. The terrasse is a unique gem in town. I am back soon again.
Recently moved to Zurich and on the hunt for nice casual cafes, I came across Cafe du Bonheur recently. It’s definitely not mainstream and a nice menu (mostly seasonal) to go with its character. Definitely worth a visit.
