We’ve been several times to this traditional restaurant and really appreciate the excellent, attentive service and food. There is even a daily menu in the evening for CHF 27.-! It’s a lovely atmosphere, and just right before a concert.
The Kongresshaus enjoys a well established reputation for good dining and has an outside area well protected by awnings and umbrellas. We only stopped off for a drink and small snack as it was too early in the day for dinner.
Located adjacent to the wonderful Tonnehalle concert hall, a perfect place for dinner before the concert. A very good food and wine selection and also a fine fixed menu if you prefer. The service we received was attentive and timely, in a classic way.
Recently, we were invited to a reception with the restaurant responsible for the catering. A full success – very good service and really creative food served. Good job. An excellent reference for the restaurant.
Not much is lacking at this fine hotspot in Zurich. The service and the menu are exceptional, and it has a good dose of style.
