About
"Life is too short to deal with bad food, cheap drinks, and fake people." Uncle TIMBER saw this on a 60's poster (of course, it's black and white) when he was a commis in a diner. Ever since that day, it has become the philosophy of his kitchen. "Ingredients from unreliable sources will not make it to cutting boards; vegetables will not be added into a stew until caramelized; broth has to be cooked whole night, the sauce needs to be tasted, and of course every dish must be perfectly cooked before serving." Uncle TIMBER insists on practicing these details year after year. The message he is trying to deliver is that it is not too difficult to learn how to cook. However, following the right procedures and paying attention to the details are usually overlooked. This is why everyone can cook, but not everyone can make excellent food. On Uncle TIMBER's table, is casual and relaxed. You can choose our tasting menu or a la carte items. You also have different options for dining places - the main seating area, private rooms, or at the kitchen table. While waiting for your food, having a glass of wine is highly recommended. Uncle TIMBER believes that the meal would not be perfect without a drink. We would not be surprised if you order a bottle of wine instead of one glass because our prices are "FRIENDLY.". Nothing worth having comes quickly or easily. Please lay back to enjoy our food, affordable wine, and Uncle TIMBER's faith.
