Galanga Restaurant & Art Gallery (to give it its full title) as a Thai-style 'house' complete with an open terra-cotta floored 'garden' patio with a tree and plants in front of the main building, with its ornate wooden Thai roof, which is set back some 10 metres from the busy road. The whole frontage is really beautiful and it's well worth taking a minute or two looking at it (as many people do) before entering... And passing through the walled garden with its fresh fish display to the left, next to an open kitchen where chefs are busily showing their skills in pulling noodles, and the 11 tables for customers wishing to dine under the stars to the right, you come into the air-conditioned open restaurant itself.
