We were very excited about this place at first. But good impression went away after subsequent visits. Food is good but only if you’re lucky 🙂
We stayed boonya resort and this restaurant is right next door. We were here few times. Food was good, but thai people yell at the restaurant all the time at full volume.. really annoying to eat when people scream..
Propper Thai food , decent prices, clean location. I ordered Som Tam and it was very delicious. Maybe not the cosiest restaurant but really authentic.
Food wasn’t bad at all. Got breakfast for 120 baht with eggs toast and coffee. I would say pretty standard for the island. Staff is super friendly!
We ate at Boonya’s a few times during our holiday and were not disappointed. It is good Thai food cooked and served with a passion to please.Worth a try! (And a game of pool!)
