Located in Bitez just a tiny skip away from the historical city attractions of Bodrum, this bakery and pastanesi has a sizable collection of Turkish pastries, some of which are solely unique to the bakery, like boat shaped simit filled with kasarli cheese, and fig filled cookies. I ordered a large whole grain bread, some almond and fig cookies, and kasarli pogaces. Everything was very fresh and the almond cookies were the best I’ve had anywhere in Turkey so far. However I don’t recommend the fig cookies as they were flavorless, and the filling was too dry and chewy.
