About
Founded in 1938 at Bolu's current Town Hall Square, the establishment of Hashim Restaurant continues to offer its valued guests the opportunity to enjoy Bolu's exciting and famous foods. During the Ottoman Empire, it was the city of Bolu where sultans selected the finest chefs of the palace for the imperial kitchen. Hasim Restaurant is the only establishment of Bolu that carries on the centuries old tradition of fine cuisine from the freshest ingredients. Hasim Restaurant continues preparing traditional recipes that were once served for the Ottoman Palace. Bolu's Hashim Restaurant continues to exist as a family owned and managed business, currently by the 3rd generation. For Ismet Pasha's Talas Boregi (a famous and traditional flaky meat pastry) we visit Hasim Restaurant's menu. The 2nd generation of managers, the son of Hashim Kalayc, Yurdaer Kalayc, with his life-long research and development in the kitchen resulted in Hasim Restaurant's menu transforming into what it is today. The 3rd generation, Inan Kalayc, continues the same tradition as well as adding a touch of technology and innovation.Details

Magistral interpretation of menu and ottoman specialty suggestions by Mr Tugrul. Very nice location, with possibility to eat in the garden in the good season. Interesting menu and well cooked dishes. Good quality/price report.

The grounds are lush and green, however the brunch was very mediocre and overpriced. The service non-existent. The music was loud and obnoxious. Not too clean either. Would not go again.
We had only diner with lamb cotelettes, meze and salads but we loved it.Turkish dessert was great. I liked the lamps on the table – very interesting and beautiful. The breackfast there was very good too.
