Aloran Cafe & Restaurant is one of THE best restaurants in Istanbul. Authentic Turkish cuisine with fantastic friendly service. Just around the corner from Hagia Sophia.
Everything was perfect and the owner gave gifts to my girlfriend each time. We eat there multiple times during our stay although we usually like to try new restaurants each day.
Service was great. Food was good but nothing special. The restaurant is easy to find: just outside Sultanahmet Square.
We chose the vegetarian options of tomato soup and moussaka – both very enjoyable and reasonably priced. The waiter (owner?) was so nice and relaxed and offered us fruit teas after the meal. Probably one of the nicest restaurants in this touristic area of Sultanamet.
