The head spinning adventure of 5. Kat Restaurant filled with art, taste and style began in 1993, in Beyolus historic Cihangir neighborhood. stanbuls oldest civilian cultural center which has played host to many cultural events, concerts, talks and art workshops. Thus, its setting became probably the citys most breathtaking one, reaching from Sarayburnu to the Bosphorus. It took its name from the 5th floor of the building its in, Bilsak (science art institute ); Actress/Director Yasemin Alkaya is the founder and her passion for art is reflected on everything from the extraordinary fabric of the place to its yummylicious food and ofcourse to its celebrity guest list. The first week of April, 2017, Sir Ian McKellen (Lord of the Rings) and his close friend Lord Michael Cashman dined at 5. Kat together with world famous director Volker Schlondorff. Oliver Laxe, Jo Sol, Gabe Klinger also enjoyed a beautiful night as well.5th Floor also made a name for itself with its unique parties.Details

I booked a table for my fiancé birthday and all of the staff were supportive and kind. Everything was fantastic,food,desserts and their sour cherry wine was great and our small birthday party was very special and lovely. Definitely recommend here. Thanks a lot xx
