The food is delicious. Feels like home away from home.
I ordered masala chicken biryani and keema samosa. The chicken biryani was so good, it came with one small bowl of yogurt, the portion itself was too big for me, I can really taste the spices, it was really satisfying.4 pieces of samosa for onw portion, served with 3 kind of sauces, I relished all the samosa in just minutes. All the food served fresh and hot.The ambience was good and clean. The waiters were so helpful and quick.Thank you
We recently visited the beautiful country of Turkey and during our week-long stay, we were craving for some Indian food towards the end of the trip and happened to find a Delhi Darbar Restaurant in Taksim – one of the more popular areas in the European side of the country. From the time we entered till the time we left the experience felt nothing less than a homely and comfortable one as though we are in our own country- India. The prices are quite reasonable and the food was absolutely delicious. We ate the paneer tikka masala, vegetable biryani, daal makhani, chana masala, in bread we had the butter naan and tandoori roti & ended the meal with a cup of kheer. The stand out dish from this meal was (by miles) the Daal Makhni which was supremely rich in flavour and consistency that it would put certain restaurants back in India, who prepare this daal, to shame! Highly recommended place to visit if you are craving Indian food in a foreign country.
You need to tell them to make Roti’s and Naan as per Indian standard’s (seems the cook wasn’t too aware abt it) it was extremely thick, the worst part is they charged me for a 2 piece sliced onion and 2 cut piece lemons that is 99.99% complimentary anywhere in the world!! I wouldn’t recomend simply towards the attitude of the staff
