The waiter fooled us. He served us things that we didnt ordered and said thas special thats special.. for 7 people he give to us 17 baklavas that we didnt want. The restaurant is just to make money. Never again!!!!!!!!!!
A must visit place in Istanbul. This is the main branch so you have to expect a waiting list to be served. If it’s your first visit, you won’t be annoyed with the wait as you’ll be astonished with the ambience. Their steak is the best I’ve tasted across different countries.
For a place most known for meat, it is surprising to find the meat this average, and overcooked. Nusret Special was not so special. Beef carpaccio was a delight. The waiters can pull off a show, and they really take care of you until you order enough to mark up the targeted bill, and then when you don’t like your plate (because it’s overcooked) & you send it away and order the bill to leave they don’t even ask you why you didn’t finish the plate. It’s a place on a lot of people’s bucket list because of the mass promotion, but it’s not luxurious and it’s not a restaurant you would return to or recommend to meat aficionados. I guess they rely on one-timers. (this fuss won’t last) #masstige
