This place is in the heart of the Sultanahmet and has a big outdoor seating which really catches your attention. But the further you stay from this place, the better it is for you. Three friends and I went here for lunch and beers one sunny afternoon. Us being tourist the staff members were all around us, trying to talk us in to order the house special and other such over priced items, after a lot of talking and understanding we settled in for a mix grilled platter for three. The fourth person ordered a vegetarian casserole, which according to him was rubbish and bland, no seasoning at all. Not even salt. However, the grill was good and the presentation was very royal, but well it wasn’t really for three people, was more like a portion for 6. The platter had all kinds of meat and seafood, CHICKEN, BEEF, LAMB, FISH, CALAMARI it had it all. But we couldn’t even complete 3/4th of it. Then once the bill arrived our table, we were terrified as the charged us almost about 250$ for the meal. Which I think was a sure rip off, not in terms of highly priced dished. But because they made us a meal for 6, whereas we were only 3 of us eating from there. My suggestion is stay away from this place, if you really had to go here, make sure you only order whats on the menu with clear printed price.Let me tell you though, the food wasn’t bad and the presentation was super!!!Will I recommend? Well, just don’t get cheated, cause food isn’t bad.
