A very cozy joint and that’s what is great about them. We were tourists and were just looking to hog onto anything and came by their restaurant and we did not regret it. Really loved the ambience and music. Reminiscent of the early 60’s.
We had lunch at Cozy Restaurant and Cafe during our 1st trip to Istanbul. We ordered the Anatolian Mixed Grill and loved it. The meats (lamb and chicken) were moist, full of flavor and absolutely tasty. We would revisit this place anytime.
It’s my 2nd time to this restaurant.The restaurant’s located mid sultanahmet street very close to basilica cistern and hagia sophia.A nice atmosphere in general.Comfortable seats and couches.Heaters are located above the customers so cold weather won’t be a problem to eat outdoors.The waiters are very helpful and hospitable.The salad, lamb testi kebab and chicken testi were good enough .
Bu restaurant yıllarca sürekli geldiğimiz, bizim için anlamı olan bir mekandı. Yıllarca koruduk bu duyguları. Ta ki bu hafta sonu arkadaşlarımızı da götürene kadar. Kendini bilmez saygısız yeteneksiz bir garsonun rahatsızlığımızı anlamayıp sinirli ve öfkeli bağırması ve derdimizi medeni insanlar gibi anlatacak kimseyi bulamamızla son buldu. Fiyatların normalin üstünde olması, menülerin buna rağmen çok az olması bile bugüne kadar aldığımız bir kıstas değildi fakat saygısızlık affedilemez. En kötüsüde İstanbul’ a ait, bulunmaktan mutlu olduğumuz sayılı yer kalması ve bunlarında kendini bilmezler tarafından talan edilmesi.
If you are tired of the same menu offered in almost all of the restaurants in Sultan Ahmet area, then this is the place to be.Located right next to the road, it has a beautiful pub setup inside and some tables spread out outside too. The best part is the staff here who are very courteous and do not heckle passerbys unnecessarily.We ordered the Mixed Grill and the Quesadillas which were both amazing. The taste was unlike any other food I have tasted here and that itself was a welcome change. The mixed grill had Beef fingers, chicken breast and lamb chops which were done medium rare just like I wanted.The Quesadillas were a let down since there was too much gravy in it and since it was not rolled up, it was difficult to eat. The taste was quite nice but the meat was slightly rubbery.Overall, a fine dining experience of all the places I visited in Turkey
