A return visit this year after two visits on our last holiday in 2018, and the food, warmth of service and very reasonable prices were replicated and I would happily recommend.
We have been going to Akin for the last 20 years and it has consistently delivered the goods. Excellent food and service and a great position overlooking the harbour and the mosque. Can highly recommend.
Had vegetarian moussaka and sea bass. Was ok, had better sea bass elsewhere in kalkan. Service was friendly and good.
Unusual setting in that the tables are on a ‘patio’ across the road from the restaurant itself, overlooking the harbour. Family run, with friendly service. Would recommend the meatballs, whether original, super or ‘crazy’. Well priced.
Great little restaurant. Turkish village breakfast was lovely with a good selection of meat, cheese, vegetables, honey, halva etc. We also had a great dinner with meze and mussaka on the spectacular terrace with a view of the harbour. Very welcoming and friendly.
This was a repeat visit and one that will be repeated again next year. Lovely food, a wide ranging menu to suit all tastes, great service and lovely location tucked down by the Mosque – it’s also excellent value for money.
