About
Located to the eastern side of Suleyman Yilmaz Street, which can be found at the rear of the old town, Coast Tapas and Grill is a modern fusion Turkish kitchen situated in a gentrified olive oil factory which has been sympathetically restored into an industrial-chic, inside-outside roof terraced dining room. Entrance is via the ground floor, where Guests can explore the museum which includes agricultural artefacts and an Olive Press; its even possible for Guests to dine here too. The menu is varied offering a plethora of small plates which are ideal for sharing and includes a range of traditional mezze and a fusion of more eclectic Asian and Mediterranean inspired tapas. Larger plates are mainly cooked over the grill and are prepared using the finest of ingredients found locally presented in a contemporary manner. Unusually for Kalkan the kitchen stays open until late (01.00) making it the ideal choice for a late bite. The drinks menu is extensive and diverse and is not to be miss
