We had high expectation on the quality of the restaurant, but we were very disappointed .. although we booked in advance, we were not recognized by the staff when we arrived and our pre-ordered cheese cake was not ready.. we also waited too long between courses .. in addition, the drinking cups were not clean .. More importantly, we did not like the attitude of the staff as they did not apologize for not preparing our table nor for the cleaness of the place .. The quality of the food was good ..
Unfortunate that such a poor restaurant is associated with such a nice resort. Plates were 1/3 filled. Kid portions across the entrees and main dishes. Seafood Ravioli was soggy and bland; no taste whatsoever; probably the worst ravioli i have tasted. Chicken ceasar and buratta salads were fair. Wagyu burger was not cooked as requested. Service was slow. Definitely not worth the AED 1,800 that we were charged.

Came to Frangipani with my partner after she spoilt me for my birthday and booked us in at Zaya Nurai Island. Everything was absolutely fantastic and we loved every bit!!! Definitely planning to visit again soon!!!!!
We had lunch here after an event last 18th November 2018, the salad is yummy also the main course but only few choices of desserts. I’d love to try them again for a stay cation one day. joanfarillon.com
Very good food. Tendrlion and wagyu burgers were tasty. Serving food is perfect. Thanks to Michael and the rest of the team. I enjoyed Zaya Nurai Island tri and stay. That was an excellent experience.
I dined here on my staycation and I have to say that I loved the place. Normally in beach places/islands one does not expect much of high quality, but here my expectations were easily exceeded.In this particular restaurant I was able to order a selection of many appetizers and main courses not as I expected. Everything was freshly made and nicely done.The prices are reasonable for a fancy resort and the service was outstanding.I will come back to this place very soon.
