It’s difficult to express in words. Right from the starters to the main course everything was spot on and location is just wow. If anyone wants to enjoy sheesha then this is the place u can’t miss
Without doubt a superb place for a special occassion like new year. Ritz carlton is a beautiful hotel indeed. Coming to the food, the food is pretty good here. The hummos moutabel trio was superb. The following prawn kunafa was awesome. Main course mixed grill with lobster was mindblowing. At the end i really liked the desert. The only con – the staff is a bit reluctant in changing the plates. No idea why. Anyways good experience.
The Ritz Carlton has a well earned reputation as one of the world’s swankiest hotel chains, and if you choose to pay a visit to Mijana, walking through the hotel to the restaurant will probably be the most interesting part of the nightWe ordered a mixed grill platter and a shawarma plate. The restaurant was kind enough to swap out one of the items in the mixed grill, points for thatI’m a mashawi aficionado, and yet this may be the first time I’ve had a mixed grill platter that only serves one hungry boi. That’s a good thing if you want a variety of grills to eat but don’t feel like taking any of it home. The thing about the grills at Mijana is that the taste isn’t anything that’ll blow your mind. If you like kebabs, shish tawook and lamb chops, you’ll enjoy this just fine, but there are much better (and cheaper!) options out thereThe shawarma platter, on the other hand, had a ridiculous serving size that would give two people a hard time, which is a good thing for two hungry bois (or one really hungry boi). That being said, the shawarma chicken tasted rather bland and the included garlic sauce (which was actually pretty great) did little to bring out the flavor. Shawarmas are a competitive area in the UAE and Mijana is just underwhelmingIn fact, from the vibe to the presentation to the food, Mijana is overall a passable but underwhelming restaurant. It’s just that when you see your check at Mijana, you’ll wish that you’d gotten better than passable
Food and service was par excellence! Wonderful ambience and tender-est of meats! Outdoor setting was lovely as was the service. Portions was appropriate for a party of 3.
Food was divine, the location is beautiful especially in cooler weather. It was quite empty when we sat for dinner, we and another couple were the only two tables in the whole restaurant but I’m hoping that will change with the quality of food being given.
