Excellent restaurant with one of the most delicious food and drink items that are promptly and punctually served with a very nice staff and at reasonable prices.
The buffet was extremely dissapointing. I’ve heard great things about the spread many times, finally had the chance to go and was not impressed.The food quality was not good and there was not much variety at the different stations as I’ve heard the buffet to have, the sushi was filled with a cream cheese which was overpowering. Minimal seafood selection. Chefs were not very helpful at the different stations. There was a huge dessert section but the only thing we liked and enjoyed from there was the ice cream.
Tried the friday brunch and was not disappointed. They variety of food selections from salads, seafood, grilled meat, sushi, etc. would love to go back again.
Refused to use entertainer voucher with kids and they refused to show me any rule saying that, they are not trained to deal with customers overall we are not happy with their attitude and dealing with people
Went for the Monday seafood night buffet which had a nice spread including lobster, shrimps, calamari, salmon and seafood pasta among other dishesthey also have a nice grills corner, a Moroccan corner, sushi and an indian section.For desert the waffle area really stands out but you can also find the traditional Um ali, pudding and sweets.our waiter Mohammed samir was really attentive and welcoming.
We really enjoyed our time in Sofra Bld. The food quality was upto mark & every thing was freshly made. They have a good variety of live stations which adds upto the no. of choices made available. We will definately come back again since it was worth coming all the way from Dubai.
We decided to try out tonight judging by the high rating. The ambience is good and a great view of the sheikh zayed grand mosque along the sea view.Our order comprised of nasi gorengo and lamb arayes. Both items were nicely done. We were also offered complimentary soup and salad.A very good experience overall.
