This place is truly the home for authentic Italian Cuisine. Recently tried their delicious Pizzas and I can’t stop going gaga over it as it is quite light on the stomach and with the generous amount of cheese and fresh ingredients sprinkled on the pizza, you just can’t get enough of it.They also have guilt-free healthy salads and vegan-friendly options as well, in fact, you can also choose your own ingredients, so all the fitness freak out there, you have to try their amazing healthy low-calorie pizza!I ordered for Paneer Tikka Pizza which literally comes with the marinated tikka paneer, bursting with flavors. This one is a must-try for all the veg lovers out there. Also, their Verdure Pizza (another veg option from the list) was another hit on the table.Nutella on Pizza might sound crazy to some and heavenly to the rest! To my surprise, this pizza was quite good, it was in fact ordered as a dessert and can be easily found under the dessert section of the menu with the name “Lulu Pizza”As a home delivery option is available, this place can easily sort your weekend plans! Worth every bite.

This is a fabulous restaurant for some authentic Italian pizza. Nice ambience, happy staff and they serve food with a big smile.Pizzas here is very healthy and delicious as they use whole wheat flour for pizza crust. We tried paneer tikka pizza and fattoria. I absolutely loved the paneer tikka one. We had potato wedges, garden salad, garlic bread, mojito and super refreshing mint lemonade. Everything was so delicious and perfect. In dessert we had pizza lulu,brownie,vanilla-Oreo gelato. Gelato was so creamy and delicious, brownie is to die for.I loved this place and can’t wait to come back again soon.

Pizza De Rocco Rocks. Excellent taste of Italian cuisines, Nice Ambience, Super service all combined made our experience unforgettable. The supervisor Ara took good care of all guests making sure she explained the menu in detail which helped us select properly. We stopped by this place when we were nearby. Very soon they will open in Dubai.Tomato & Basil Soup: Classis tomato soup made from plum tomatoes. Very thick in consistency. Served with Garlic bread on sides. Superb taste.Antipasti Misto is a huge portion of Appetizers. Homemade Chicken Strips, Mozzarella Fritta, Potato wedges with Garlic bread. Believe me the portion of Appetizers itself is huge.Organic Quinoa Salad with Cherry Tomatoes, Avocado, Nuts, Raisins and Lime Vinaigrette. Pure Organic taste, very enjoyable. Vwry healthy too.Insalata Di Rocco is a salad with Italian Greens, Olives, goat Cheese, Mushrooms with Sweet Balsamic Dressing which was very refreshing and heavenly taste.Burrata Pizza on wheat dough, this is one of my Favourates. They did not disappoint me on this one but took it another motch up in taste.Paneer Tikka Pizza with Chicken on Wheat Dough. Wow, this is better than having Paneer Tikka with rotis. Very indian. Very original. This is the best Pizza i have ever had. The wheat dough is very healthy.Virgin pina Colada and Fresh orange juice was very refreshing in summer time.In Desserts dont forget their Homemade Ice Cream. I had their Salted Caramel and Walnut with Dates. Both were different and we cannot get these flavors anywhere. The Belgium Chocolate Moose is out of this world. Took us to heaven in taste. Will never forget this ezperience.

What construes when an Indian chef tantalizes the taste buds of a seasoned traveler British gentleman, so much so that he asks him to partner and together they open a place that serves one of the world’s most loved Italian food-pizza.This is pretty much how Pizza Di Rocco was born. A friendly, fun restaurant serving fresh pizza creations daily.Named after the son of the English man, Rocco; this is a home grown family business with some heirloom recipes featuring on the menu.Chef Joseph and Mr. Peter joined hands to provide the most authentic pizzeria experience available today, in Abu Dhabi with branches in Al Ain and Dubai. We visited the Al Ain branch and were welcomed graciously by staff. Brownie points: very kid friendly place. The décor is light yet modern and tasteful (just like their food) with the option of indoor and outdoor seating. Service is quite prompt. The pizzas here are hand-made from scratch daily with healthy, natural ingredients. The base is thin crust made with stone-milled wholewheat flour. The dough has no milk or eggs, and no sugar; making it to suit the different dietary requirements. The olive oil used here comes from a hilltop village in the Molise region of Italy.Vegans take note. There is a whole menu designed especially for Vegans. JThe pomodoro sauce is made in-house from specially imported tomatoes from Italy, just like their mozzarella, which is made from 100% milk, no vegetable fat/preservatives/additives added. This pure mozzarella is called “ Fior Di Latte”. The pizzas here are scrumptious yet light, without that usual feeling of fullness. I was told I could eat one large pizza all by myself…and I actually did!Below are the dishes we tried and liked (or not liked). Read on….The Anti-pasti-Calamari Fritti : The best I have had till date. Non greasy, crisp and the calamari tender inside with a fabulous Marie Rose Dip.Bruschetta : a Ciabatta crisped to perfection topped with luscious tomatoes and balsamic. Could do with a little more seasoning, for my taste. The Insalata (salads)-I must admit I am not a salad person. However on Deborah’s insistence (the friendly and very knowledgable staff at Pizza Di Rocco) I did try the ‘Organic Quinoa’ salad and am I glad I did. With just the right amount of creaminess from the avocadoes and generous sprinkling of nuts and raisins this white quinoa was flavourful with a burst of freshness from the lime vinaigrette. The ‘Insalata Di Rocco’ , (a specialty of the place) with mixed greens and sweet cherry tomatoes, olives, oven baked goat cheese, mushrooms, pine nuts and a sweet balsamic dressing, had summer written all over it. Delicious. Now for the stars, the Pizzas-Of the three I tried, my favourite has to be the wholewheat ‘Pollo Picante’ . Pulled oven roasted chicken, jalapenos and just enough mozzarella among other things. The ‘Pollo Pesto’ is also a hit with many, I am told. However I am biased towards a pomodoro base. This is ideal when you want to sneak in some greens/broccoli, in the garb of a pizza to your kids. The healthy, not-so-junk junk food. ;)Another classic was the ‘Fattoria’ , with caramelized onions, goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes, pine nuts and pesto. A little too sweet for my taste, but quite popular otherwise. The Drinks-Be it the freshly squeezed ‘minted lemonade’, the ‘classic virgin mojito’ or the ‘strawberry mojito’ , all were refreshing and a pretty sight for sore eyes from all the summer heat. The Desserts- The homemade Pannacotta was wonderfully light and not too gelatinous. It is quite easy to ruin this classic. Strongly recommend you try this. The Dulce de Leche Cheesecake was dense yet delicious. Another delightful dessert is their family recipe of the Lilly’s Banoffee Pie. (Named after Peter’s daughter Lilly.)The Salted Caramel Ice cream was a tad bit icy, not as much creamy but the kids will lick the tall tumbler clean, I promise. So if you are looking for a ‘healthy cheat day’ or just about anyday, Pizza di Rocco should be on your speed dial.
