  We celebrated our daughter’s second birthday and it was a breeze..from coordination and planning until the party itself. Since I was not yet sure where will be the venue for the party (I was considering a lot of venues including the Fun City in Bawadi) I had it reserved for only 100 dirhams, consumable, non refundable. The manager was so accommodating, he immediately booked me and asked me about the color motif. A day before the party, they even called me to double check with the colors of the balloons to be used for decorating the venue. It was just a simple decoration but the Filipina who was in-charge of the decoration went the extra mile. Since I had some extra balloons from home, she asked me to bring them on the day of the party. The party will start at 7pm but we were already there at around 6:30 pm to arrange the cake and the loot bags. Just before the party starts, she made nice pillars of balloons which added a regal touch to the decoration. We were assisted throughout the party. They have a nice sound system with wireless microphone. And if you do not have the right party music, you can play some from your mobile (or in our case, directly from youtube since they have FREE wifi) connected to the speakers thru bluetooth. We were there from 7pm until 11pm since some of the guests arrived late. The best thing about them, they have given me a huge discount! Considering it was Eid, they had special menu. They did not even charge me for the children (I think I had 5 children from 3 to 11 yrs old who attended the party). Over all, I had a very nice experience with them. I would definitely recommend this place for any party!

  This place is great. I go there with my family very often because it is cheap and has great food. It’s probably one of our favorite places to eat at 😀

  The buffet is 62 aed per person and there is a variety of continental, Indian and Asian food. The 1st time I was impressed thereafter it has always been a disappointment. The food never changes and some of it looks like it’s been sitting there a while!

  The worst buffet in the universe! The food is so low quality. The chicken feels wet!. The taco beef looked and tasted like vomited food. It is the most horrible restaurant! Never go.

  Poor food quality, most of the food was not even properly cooked and the chefs are cafeteria indian workers. Take my advice and go to a proper Lebanon or Pakistani restaurant who actually know how to make food and specially Kebabs! .Don’t waste your money here

  Ponderosa i believe is synonymous with buffet in UAE. Hotels offer them, but half the price and with an unplanned splurge, its the next best thing. For the food, you get what you pay for. Its not a michellin star dining experience for what its worth but to satisfy ones growling belly tired of the usual burgers and fries, its heaven sent. It offers a mix of international cuisine: my count was four hihi. Indian, arabic, mexican, italian please correct me if I missed one. Let my pictures give you a hint atleast of what youll be getting for 62dhs (per head as of writing). My favorite: ketchup laden buffalo wings and um ali hehe. Hint: google how to assemble a taco since the ingredients are a bit scattered.

  Loved the shrimp curry I ordered for home delivery, but I didn’t like the butter chicken it was a bit too sweet for my taste but the soup was perfect, looking forward to trying other dishes from the menu as well~
