My hidden gem, i love this place and i have been going there for few years now but this time i brought my friends along and they fell in love with it. The view the ambiance the service and the food. Unfortunately my favourite 1001 flavour has changed. Thy changed the dispay the pertions of the vegetables compared to the cous cous. The amout of beetroot oranges and nuts has been reduced dramatically. Please bring back my ultimate salad. Az the new one is not as good as the old one. We orde3 few other dishes. Spot on for the keto dishes and the honey chicken. The group also ordered 3 plates of special lamb dish which was very mouthwatering but unfortunately one of the plate was ice cold.Mandarina will always be my favorite place. Please stay on the same level of taste as always
Cafe mandarina is like a home to me and my family, it’s just so nice and cozy with its beautiful ambience, it’s our usual weekend getaway. Definitely the best hidden gem of abudhabi. As always, the service was excellent , friendly staff and the food is amazing at decent prices, also THE best long lasting tasty Shisha in town !! Along with the most beautiful view of horses.
First I don’t understand why the location has to be sent through whatsup while u can simply just search the location on google map . My address was clearly wrote in the delivery otherwise I couldn’t order food of course , but I was still asked about my address like 3 times by the phone . Took the delivery guy over an hour to get to my accommodation , the most unbearable part is he was already in my building but couldn’t find the apt for half an hour , which means the delivery man not only have no sense of direction but also lack of common sense , cos if he just asked anyone like security how to get to my apt it would’ve only been 10 mins maximum for anyone who is the first time coming to my building . When my food arrived , its already cold and wet .
The place is very nice and relaxing stuff friendly, BUT las time i visited the place they gave us a receipt for another table and we paid the bill and all we did not check , i found out when i was home already from the receipt , we ended up paying someones food and drinks while all we ordered me and my friend was 2 cappuccino and one shisha , it was our mistake too because we did not check before paying , but they should be more careful too
We walked into the place on Christmas Day and it was completely empty, we let the uninterested lady at the front know that we will be sitting outside, she just pointed outside for us to go. We had to fix the cushions on our own table as all the chairs outside had the cushions on top of the actual tables, then we proceeded to wait 15 mins for any waiter to come and give us a menu. Once we decided what we wanted we waited another 15 mins for the waiter to take our order but he never showed. My husband went inside to ask for the waiter to come, we then waited 10 more minutes and he didn’t come. We decided to leave because the service is absolutely appalling, I let the lady know as I was walking out the reason we were leaving but she just watched us go and didn’t even apologize. We’ve been here before on many occasions and really used to love it, but lately the service has been subpar and this was really the last straw. Not going back.
Beautiful location serving delicious food. We loved the kale salad with strawberry and avocado (winning combination). The baked camembert is a great appetizer to share and the lamb signature was juicy and fragrant. We finished the meal with a strawberry Jawhara and their brownie dessert (forgot the name). Very friendly staff. We will surely be back!
We ordered:•Hummus with Sujuk: Creamy Tasty Hummus.•Lamb Signature: Nice, but bit tasteless.•Baked Chicken and Dip: was the best, very tasty and freshly baked.Overall good and staff were friendly. Will come back to try breakfast items.
