We always enjoy coming here when we visit the Zoo. We enjoy the food (especially the flat bread) and the wonderful service. Special thanks to Fernando for his exceptional customer care. The restaurant is a hidden gem which you wouldn’t expect to be attached to a petting zoo. The food preparation is slower than expected but I’m willing to wait for nice food.
We came to Emirates Zoo for an overnight stay. So we had the option of breakfast included at this restaurant. Not the best of the places for vegetarians as they have no options for veg eaters.The breakfast itself what they had was not a very healthy option. Lots of canned food, fried chips and fried cutlets, canned juices. Just a couple of fresh fruits and salad.In fresh to eat was omlets and noodles only. Hence, lots of room for improvement.
We stopped by for a bite, after the kids enjoyed watching the animals. the salad had an interesting combination of ingredients (with raspberries), however the dressing consisted mainly of vinegar. Hence, we could not eat it. The seafood platter was nice but we had the pumpkin soup that tasted anything but pumpkin (and was not fresh),No one came to our table to ask us about our food or if we needed anything. And the bill took ages to arrive. Hope they get better with time since they’re newly opened.
