So I had this craving of eating waffles , looked up online and chose this place at Deerfields Mall at Al Bahia Must say I liked the nicely designed chairs and some cute hello kitty china and overall interiors . But thats it ! Once I received my order of Wonder Waffle or something, I was kinda disappointed with the waffle portion ! I mean only that much waffles for 52 aed !! Like seriously!!! Strawberries which were not ripe ! Very Expensive , total rip off Wont recommend this place ever !!
Got in for the yogurt, but the yogurt machine was out of order- got ourselves drenched in chocolate- caramel frappe wasn’t good as expected but the pistachio crepe was worth it – pricey still! Was innovative compared to other chocolate houses
After a visit to Abu Dhabi over the weekend and while returning to Dubai, we decided to stop by at Deerfields mall for some refreshment and rest. We headed up to the food court and decided to hangout at a cafe we found first. We were impressed by the look and interiors of Yoghurt and Chocolate house and the kids just loved it so we hopped in. Qute a cosy cafe with nice interiors and out door seating manned by a great staff. We were welcomed by cafe incharge chandan and his team who were polite, courteous and quite to take our orders. Ordering was quite easy thanks to the digital menu presented to us as soon as we sat down. The menu too seemed as interesting as the place and there were umpteen options for us more than we could imagine. We settled for passion fruit cremosina, special pancake and mocha frappe since we had already taken our dinner, we just had enough room for some dessert and coffee. The Special pancake was presented quite interestingly with liquid nitrogen fuming all around it. It tasted quite extraordinary and it had three different types of topping including pastachio, nutella and chocolate. The mocha frape too had an interesting presentation with a chocolate syringe on top. The passion fruit cremosina was quite a briliant drink too, that we ordered an additional one for a take away to sip on our drive back. The place is just too good and we would definitely visit again in our next visit. The staff are very friendly quick in service and go out of the way to make the customers feel at home. I really wish they start in Dubai. My best wishes for the brand. Highly recommended place in Deerfields mall, Abu Dhabi blogliterati.com
