I haven’t been impressed by majority of restaurants/bars in Abu Dhabi lately, but Oak Room is anything but! Off Marasi drive, hidden behind large solid wooden door, is by far one of the best steak houses I ever came across. I wandered in on Tuesday evening, & immediately greeted by a very friendly staff, very classy, sophisticated interior & relaxing atmosphere. You can sit anywhere and still feel the same vibe across the room. The restaurant was filling up quickly. The menu looks really good, didn’t know what to choose. Therefore, was recommended to try “Beef tasting menu”(450dhs) , if with premium wine pairing (total cost 950dhs). And please don’t hesitate to ask for the wine expert, wish I could remember his name but he really knows his wine. not to mention the wide range selection of wine they have!!! My eyes twirled looked at the list! Before starting beef tasting, Chef Samuel Francesco Chillau surprises me with off the menu vegan taco!!! I never tasted modern infused tacos this good!!! Light yet a blast of citrus, not acidic & very balanced. Now coming to the Beef tasting menu, it includes 7 cuisines. Beef tartar, beef carpaccio, beef broth, 18hrs braised ribbed short ribs, black onyx tenderloin( my favorite!!!!) Eton mess, sticky toffee pudding with ice cream. Everything I tried so far was very delicious, presentable, not too heavy and not too light, very well balanced for a nice evening. Nothing I would change.Ending the day with mouth watering desserts. Eton mess, a mix of meringue, Chantilly cream, raspberry and strawberries, was amazing! And the cream is to die for!!! The next dessert was sticky toffee pudding and I was abit anxious, because I always had an issue with the pudding when it comes acidic too much, but again chef Samuel surprised me and now I know where I’ll be going for desserts! Over all experience, was really amazing! Food is excellent! Staff are very welcoming/pleasing/ and most importantly “know their menu”!! Would I come again and recommend Oak Room, no doubt about it!Cheers & Have Fun! S.

The place is nice, food was good and value of money is average for restaurants in Abu Dhabi for the same category. Average spend AED500 with soft beverages however the waiter was not friendly specifically one brunette lady very rude and does not smile which does not put a good image for the restaurant.
I must say the decor and the vibe is super classy and rich. I loved it from the minute I went through the hidden entrance door. I felt like I was in the 60s. Brought clients here for dinner but no one seemed too happy about their food. Quite pricey but not bad for the decor and being in a 5 star hotel. Your staff really need training. Too casual for such a classy place. Best mash potato I ever had but the meats and the gourner burger etc was very bland and sad. Also the drinks and cocktails etc need to be improved for a restaurant like this. So much potential but not branded the right way.
Great restaurant in a great hotel. Staff and food both excellent. I have been twice now and had the strip loin both times, quality and temperature both been perfect. Wagyu Fat Chips are a little chunky for me so better to go with the triple cooked chips with truffle and parmesan. At the end of second meal we were brought some caramel treats which were also delicious. Overall good value for money and great overall restaurant.
Great food! Excellent service! We love the atmosphere! The quality of the steaks is the best in Abu Dhabi by far!Definitely try the Bloody Marys!
