We went their on two consecutive days 1st day had shawarma, it’s the worst shawarma I ever had, the bread was hard, thick and chewy. The filling was OK. The second day we went for dinner despite sitting on the table for 20 mins finally we left the restaurant, worst customer service
The worst experience we ever had in our life. We went for dinner at this so called restaurant today evening, we waited for nearly 10 minutes no waiter came and attended us. We called the waiter several times finaly one guy came, he throwed the menu card on the table and went off. After that we waited for somebody to take order, again we waited for another 10 mins still nobody gave us any attention. Finally we left the restaurant. Will never visit this hotel again.
The trademark of the Al Ibrahimi restaurant in Electra street – the cheerful chap in traditional Pakistani attire and a big smile was absent when we went in for lunch. I was told that he will be there in the evening. We were greeted with the usual and abundant fresh green veggies serving typical for Pakistani restaurants, here with the addition of green olives. The thought of being in a Pakistani restaurant is itself a reason to order a grill platter. Owing to us being a group of extra hungry foodies, we ordered the big mixed grill platter and boy it did deliver – including Mutton chops, Mutton kebab, Chicken kebab and topped off with Quail fry and even a Sherry fish in the middle! It was tasty and wholesome and came on top of a layer of rice, along with a plate of hummus. But the graph just started to go down from there. Our next order of Mutton handi was fine, while the Chicken karahi was more on the sour side. But the dish we thought would be highlight of the meal, especially after exalting it so much to my friends – the dal fry – was a far cry from the super tasty preparation that Pakistani style is famous for. Add to that the tandoor roti was hard and rubbery. We finished the meal with a kheer, which had nothing to rave about. My last trip was long back, when Al Ibrahimi was synonymous for Pakistani food in Abu Dhabi. Today I really missed those old flavours; add to that the advent of other Pakistani outlets in the city serving tasty food, sure brings in competition and comparisons.Food – 3Ambience – 4Service – 4
Zero service, needs a big time renovation of the whole restaurant, they are not up to standard at all good food but the place the servers are to rude. There still in 80s .
Dinner at Ibrahim restaurant today. It’s one of our family favourite restaurants for desi food in Abu Dhabi. They serve authentic Pakistani curries and BBQ. We ordered:*chicken ginger, tried 1st time and I loved it. Balanced spices and flavour.*Bbq platter, includes mutton chops, chicken tikka, reshmi kabab and seekh kabab. All items were delicious.*Mutton kadhai was mouth watering.*Tawa mutton masala was full of flavours and tasted yummy.Restaurant is very spacious for big gatherings, they also offer buffet. They are not too pricey, very reasonable food. Overall good experience.
Bad customer service and their mutton is full of bad smell. Nobody receive and follow up for your complain. Better to save your money and try any other Resturant.
One of the worst Pakistani food I have ever eaten. The mutton was boilish, daal undercooked and the naan was reheated in microwave making it hard to break. They did replace the naan but with an undercooked one. Please avoid the place.
