I ordered kare kare and beef steak today. The food is nicely done and beef is tender. The only problem i encountered was it took them time to deliver my order. They took 20-30mins late from the time of delivery. Nevertheless, the food is good and will order again.
My favorite resto near my office. Love the goto, batchoy, empanada and samut saring ulam. Staff is very accommodating including the owner kuya and madam, the crews chona, nieves, chef and everyone there is very friendly. I miss this place so much. The party trays are also affordable. Shanghai and pancit is what we always order for party. Halo halo is also nice. And their own version of lemon ice tea made from brewed tea and lemon.
Lapaz batchoy – the most ordered dish on the menu so we gave it a try. The All time old favorites good for 2 to 3 persons for 20 dhs is fair enough. Puto and empanada 3 pcs for each order, sizzling seafoods , pancit malabon – all u can eat for 17 dhs, 1 pitcher ice tea for 12dhs are just an addition to our order. Needs more improvement on the interiors most specially the wall paintings. Staffs should be trained and know how to greet customers most specially this branch has just opened recently. They need to be more polite and friendly to encourage loyal customers. No hi or hello when we arrived in this branch which gives a bad impression from the first visit. The staff is eating at the table when we arrived and he seemed upset when we disturbed him. He is the same staff who took our ordered. Since we are the only customers arrived at that time, we expected that our order will be served fast. When the foods arrived, groups of customera arrived and the small branch turned into like a carinderia. Asking for the bill took very long time because we need to wait for the staff to return. We have to let the new customers stand before we can leave the store. Of course, no thank you from the staff before we leave. You have to improve on customer service, add staffs most specially during weekends. Parking is free since the location is mostly in the villa areas.
The place is small but clean and nice. Staff were nice.The extra batchoy was good, a little bit sweet but still so good. Puto was okay. Bilo-bilo was the best! This place really brings back all the memories you had back in the Philippines. Come to this place and enjoy Filipino cuisine.
I’ve been in greg’s in salam branch and this is the second branch I visit in Al falah. Sad to say but I will compare salam and al falah branch. Maybe because al falah branch have more customers that’s why our order take half an hour to be served. Well compare to salam and al falah, this branch is the most busy one. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. One thing I notice in al falah they don’t refill the soup of there batchoy unlike in salam branch, in salam they will ask you sir/mam do you need more soup. But all in all still two thumbs-up in this restaurant. Keep up the good job.
