Amir Al Sham is a Syrian Restaurant that serves a variety of regional middle eastern dishes, including Lebanese, Jordanian and Syrian dishes. They serve quite a few mixed grilled platters along with the usual Arabic rice dishes. Their USP is serving food with excellent value for money. I bought what was the largest Shawarma I’ve ever had in my life from this restaurant. It was almost a foot long and was stuffed with chicken. The Shawarma came wrapped in Saj bread and was simple – Garlic paste, a few pickles and possibly a whole shredded chicken!! The ‘Large’ shawarma costs 10 Dirhams. They also serve a pretty decent fried kibbe platter. They also serve the Syrian version of the fried kibbe which is grilled. Personally not a favorite as I found it too oily even though it was grilled. Service is friendly and quick – 4/5The food is good, but a little oily 3.5 / 5Value for money 5 / 5 Generosity and portion size 5 / 5
