I called to make a reservation using a cobone voucher but my request was rejected as they do not accept reservations during ”eid week”. I was surprised by this claim as the fine print on the voucher did not mention “eid week” instead it mentions no bookings during Ramadan. The staff and supervisor were both rude, unprofessional and not cooperative. They did not seem to bother about me rating them or writing my review which makes me ponder whether they really care about the restaurant’s reputation! I bet the restaurant’s management ought to reassess their recruits!
Compared to the price they charging the restaurant is definitely worth considering. They have lot of meat options from kebab to curries. Ideal for families.
Was there recently and the food was delicious. Although not value for money !. During reservation the buffet price was said to be 55 or maybe I misheard but was 65. Drinks not included so an average of 70-75.Hospitality and courtesy does not seems sincere and genuine, specially during busy hours. Hygiene maintenance is questionable
The rating could get 5 star only if they add quails (بٹیر), Curry Pakoda, Umm Ali, Rice Kheer and sauces again in their menu. I have got opportunity this Ramadan for iftar dinner two times. In first visit the presentation was so disappointing but they managed and improved the following visit. Number of dishes they added after I made request to Mr. Alex after my first visit experience and I’m very much thankful to him that he addressed my complaints and found enhanced menu like qeema, cheese nan, halwa poori, Zarda, lamb kuna etc. At the end the 2nd visit was full of taste with traditional Lal Qila hospitality and Mr. Alex contributed as much as possible. However I would like to strongly suggest Lal Qila management to restore quail BBQ, Nihari and make improvement in desserts menu so I continue to be a valued customer.
Experienced the Iftar Buffet. Though it is a little overpriced, yet, being the only pure Pakistani cuisine available in Abu Dhabi, it was worth spending. You can find the real Pakistani taste in all the dishes available. Found here for the first time the Real Biryani in any restaurant. (Most of them just selling ‘spicy rice’)Nice ambience: Theme based on the mughal dynasty
