I visited Manuel’s Cafe with a friend over the weekend and I must say, it’s a splendid combination of taste and elegance with contemporary design and urban chic decor. We started with the chef’s favorites – the Creamy Burrata and Rice-less Risotto. They were both super creamy and utterly delicious. The ultra-soft, seasoned Burrata had an explosion of flavor as we cut through it releasing the creamy curd. The burrata was served on a bed of organic farm fresh heirloom tomatoes of different colors, each with it’s distinct flavor. We were both surprised with the exceptional flavor in the curried lentil Risotto. We love lentils for it’s high protein and fiber content, and often try our hand at preparing different varieties of lentil soups and rice-lentil/stew combinations at home, but this starter was spectacular! The pea velouté jazzes up the classic earthy flavour of lentils and the flavours just build up with every spoonful.Moving on, we ordered the Wagyu Beef Cheek and Roasted Norwegian Salmon for the main. The beef cheek was meltingly tender with a rich flavor and perfectly paired with creamy truffle mashed potatoes. This was by far the best Wagyu Beef Cheek that I have tasted so far! The Salmon fillet was lightly roasted and seasoned with fresh herbs served with creamy spinach tortellini on the side. Not as great as the Wagyu Beef Cheek. From their dessert menu, I had their Truffle Caramel Lait and Exquisite Lait chocolates – with a velvety rich melt-in-your-mouth core, topped with roasted hazelnuts on the outside offering a pleasant, surprising crunch. These were exceptional in taste and quality and I got to add, you can’t leave Manuel’s without trying their signature desserts! If you need a serious ube dessert fix, Cafe Manuel’s is the place I would recommend! Also, I must make a mention of the manager, Mr. Ogi for his appealing way of handling customers and his competence shown through the nature of his work.@saharreviews

I visited Manul with a friend of mine as we were craving something sweet. We ordered crepe as the picture was so encouraging. The waiter came saying they don’t have the chocolate bar which they put on the top of the crepe so we asked for something instead. We decided to go for vanilla ice cream. The crepe was below average and we couldn’t finish it. We were surprised to know that they charged us 15 dirhams for the scope of ice cream we asked for. I hate this kind of treatment in restaurants and cafes. The dished are already over priced and you should have informed us about this from the beginning. we excepted a high quality food and better behavior is such “luxury” place. Its not recommended at all.

We ordered cappuccino and it was okI got dulce drink and it was too sweet for my liking but those who love sweet drinks will love this! The french toast we got was alright but it was not what I expected like the traditional soaked in egg toast, it wasn’t that at all.Located in the middle of the mall with no walls so you kinda lose privacy. The decor was sophisticated and trendy. The staff are very welcoming and nice!Recommended place for its decor and if you would love a quick coffee.

Atmosphere: The place is well decorated, and it was not crowdedOrder: we have tried both Glossy and mango & coconut desserts. The display was appealing, however we did not like the taste. (Not recommended)

The restaurant is beautiful and decorated with marble details. I had a light lunch there and so far it’s my favorite restaurant in Marina Mall. Looking forward to try the desserts next time!
