No doubt the grandeur and the remarkable opulent atmosphere of this property is something one should experience at least once. Though it was a week day but it was a busy day; people engulfed in taking pictures, appreciating the live musicians’ performance and enjoying coffee in the lobby cafes in dim lights are all the elements creating a nice atmosphere. To reach to Mezzaluna, you have to cross the lobby and then take the accelerator two steps down. We were few minutes late, so they called us to make sure our arrival. Indoor seating is excellent but small whereas outdoor seating is reasonably good. Staff was busy, so some were little uncourteous, especially the waitress who took our food order never smiled. She was kind of robotic. One of our friend asked about the suggestion and she ended up explaining the dishes, in a highly uninterested way, he asked for; which was not helpful. Whereas, other servers around were quite polite, gentle and smiling with a willingness to help. Food in itself was not something to try again; breads served while waiting for the main course were fresh and tasted very good, tomato cake was served which was nice. Lamb ragout was little watery and lamb was tasteless; waitress promised to bring the tomato sauce with it which never came. She forget to take our order for drinks so we had to call her again. Should this restaurant be not in this property, there is nothing worth to visit for; but overall we were enjoyed our stay there.
It is a decent restaurant and food is good. For me, the restaurant increases its value once you are able to sit outside enjoying the atmosphere of the Emirates Palace. It is a good location for a change.
The food was spectacular! We had 3 pasta dishes, two of their specialties & 1 ravioli. The ambiance & service by the lovely waiters were phenomenal. A bit pricey but it’s expected for a restaurant at its caliber. We had a visit from the chef who was the nicest! Decided to go with tiramisu for the dessert. It was also mouthwatering! Overall great ambience, amazing food & lovely staff!
Tried it in Ramadan the atmosphere is amazing!! The buffet was great and tasty and having a lot of variety. . Enjoyed there and sure will try it once more
Wir waren zum Abschluss unseres Aufenhalts im Emirates Palace im Mezzaluna essen. Es war die richtige Entscheidung, in einem gediegenen Ambiente kümmerte sich ein Kellerteam um unsere Wünsche. Es bestehen die Möglichkeiten inn- oder outside zu speisen. Die Speisenzubereitung und – darbietung entsprach dem Hotelstandard.
The food is okay. Its not amazing but its quite good. The location in emirates palace makes for a dazzling atmosphere with opulence and luxury.
