We tried it in the evenings for coffee and if you want to smoke, the back garden door for the hotel closes at 10pm, whereas, the outside seating for Vienna Plaza is still open. We ordered a take away cake from Vienna Plaza and it was absolutely amazing. It was a dark chocolate flavored mousse cake and it felt as if it was melting in your mouth as you eat it. Will try some of the other cakes next time. justsodellish.com
Despite the secluded, kind of depressing atmosphere Vienna cafe offers, this place has some charm. This is possibly because it’s one of the oldest cafes in town and holds with it great memories. Menu is quite comprehensive, tried a Moroccan tea and 2 friends had coffee. All the drinks were approved. I do want to go back and try their cakes – back in the day they had a great Sacher!
