If one word could sum up our Dinning experience at Almayass restaurant then undoubtedly that would be Awfully Ah-mazing. It’s a beautifully designed and culturally adorned restaurant located at the mezzanine Floor of Sheraton hotel, Corniche Road. The view from the restaurant are beautiful and mesmerizing. Be it lunch or dinner date, family gathering or any business meeting they have the perfect mood for every sort. They’re graciously serving Armenian and Labanese cuisine and I must say they serve it like a pro. We have tasted Labanese cuisine so many time at so many different places that we now know it very well how the taste of authentic Labanese food taste like. But it was our first time to try out some the Armenian dishes in UAE. They master both these cuisines. We ordered lentil soup, tabouleh and fattousch salad to start with. All three of the items were divine. Then we had grilled fish, grilled jumbo prawns (yumsters), boneless chicken, Armanian Manti, Basterma Almayass, veel cubes with cherry sauce, and itch. Last four dishes that I mentioned were Armenian dishes while the three at the start were Labanese. All the food items were prepared very keenly and tasted so well that even it was our first time eating Armenian cuisine it felt like we are very well familiar with that before. They tasted so well to our taste buds that we felt fantastic. Their drinks were refreshing and good in taste along with food. We loved each and every dish that they served. As far as ambiance is concerned that too was stupendous. The staff was courteous and polite and they knew exactly how to treat each and every single guest with dignity. We loved their kind gestures and sporty spirits. Hamza was the server who took care of our table and he did his job fantastically. The chef and his team too did his job par excellence.
