Southernsun Abu Dhabi’s “Balcon Launching” was magnificient! Not only did they introduce the newly renovated and cozy ambience, there team welcomed the guests with their unique middle eastern-asian fushion cuisines spearheaded by Executive Chef Manish Law. The Balcon, located at the upper level of Southern Sun Abu Dhabi is indeed a place to watch out for.
The Balcon is a very nice Bar with nice views to a swiming pool and Abu Dhabi. It’s not very big so it’s quiet. The drinks are good and of course, expensive. A good spot to drink alcool in Abu Dhabi.
This wasn’t my first visit for the Balcon, I’ve always loved the ambience and the view is pretty however it isn’t the best place for sushi, but definitely I will be coming back again for chilling.
Top on my list for a chill out evening with drinks, good food and shisha for some quality calm relaxed time and chit chats. Very friendly professional staff who gives attention to details. Just perfect ambiance to release all that stress u had at work. We were 4 ppl & the bill was 600aed after my 20% discount. It’s totally worth it. Give it a try.
MIND = BLOWN. I don’t know where to begin with this place. If you’re looking for excellent food, good shisha and signature cocktails, this is definitely the place to be. Firstly, I’m not from Abu Dhabi, so these guys definitely need to open a branch in Dubai. Secondly, the one thing I would recommend to everyone is their Dynamite Shrimp. You know how you feel like you’ve eaten the best shrimp cocktail or yeah, I’ve had really good shrimps before? Well you’re wrong. I will write it down in stone for you, hands down one of the best shrimps I’ve eaten in my life. It’s little deep fried balls of heaven tossed in some magical sauce, it’s a definite must try. They have a wide array of sushi as well, tried the surf n turf one and it was insanely good too, very Americanised sushi, but good nonetheless. Ordered the Mojito, to be honest it tasted a lot like a virgin Mojito, would’ve definitely liked a lot more Rum in mine. Got a Grape + Mint shisha and that was pretty good too! Definitely going back there soon. Andy S.
One of the good places for chilling out in the town. seatings are all arround some fountain looks like a pool you can sef in the normal tables or in the cabana which requires minimum charge which I tired once with a group oc friend and we hqd shisha snd drinks.Shisha is good drinks are good too, tried their food like two times which was some arabic cold mezzeh and all as ok. Service is good but might be bit challenging in weekends nights.
