Cafe palmier has a concept which they call a buffet. You serve yourself starters and then order a main course off the menu. Not an unheard of concept but one that this restaurant executes very poorly. Our waiter was very helpful but the kitchen staff (won’t go as far as calling them ‘chef’) were very unpleasant. Our only clue that the order was accepted was a grunt. Everybody at our table went through the same experience. Then when we wanted have more sushi (1 hour before closing time) the so called chef said he was busy. Only after getting the manager involved did we get the sushi. What an unpleasant experience.

Cozy ambience, amazing staff and customer service – These in my opinion are the key highlights of this place. We came here on a seafood buffet night, the selection of food is limited but good. We also enjoyed their live grill station outside. The place is not crowned so if you are looking for a calm and cozy place to enjoy some delicious food, this place is ideal.
Across the road from work, and with a special company discount for the buffet lunch, this is our go to place to re-balance our diet after a weekend, with plenty of fresh salads alongside cold cuts, hot food and desserts. A solid lunch buffet spot and can get quite busy. Am becoming a regular here.
