We visit this small joint to have their momos. The momos are good to taste the only bad part is the waiting time and the staff is least bothered even if the customer is waiting for a long time.. The chutney served with the momos aren’t that tasty and up to the mark..

I was always on a look out for authentic momos and finally found them..the perfect momos with perfect dipping sauce, we also tried chicken chowmein and it wasnt bad either. Looking forward to try more dishes. Their delivery service is commentable, took hardly 10 mins.

I quite honestly did not know what to expect when I walked in. All I keep hearing from friends who’ve been to the country itself have told me endlessly, you better like daal and rice. So I said surely that can’t be all that’s to it. So I entered. Glad I did. I asked what buff momos were and asked if it were beef assuming it was miss-spelt. It wasn’t, buff is short for buffalo. Interested I ordered one serving for 15 Dhs. I expected maybe 6 pieces at most . About 12 to 15 bite sized dumplings came out on a single platter accompanied with a side of pickle sauce. Buff here is very similar to beef Anthe beef inside is very similar to that of kofta, with parsley as its name flavour enhancer . However , because it is encased in an impermeable dumpling shell it’s cooked in its own natural juice to provide your mouth when bitten into, a meaty, herbal (parsley) and tasteful experience. But like fries and the quantity of them the flavour can get a bit monotonous after the 6th one so I dipped in the pickle. The sharpness and sweetness perfectly compliments the singleness of the dumpling. The acid cuts right through the fat and almost cleanses the palate for a second bite.I’m super glad I’ve found this place . I’ve been back twice now in 2 weeks haha.So Don’t let the looks deceive you!!! Go in and get your MOMO on!!!Cheers Nepal Palace!!!

It’s a small outlet for standard Nepali cuisine. Recommended for momos and rice thali options. Limited menu and quick service. Outside seating available.

Not big fan of Nepali food. Just was passing by so thought of giving try. We order chicken momo taste really great the sauce was spicy. Over all taste gr8 experience. Only Custer service is lacking behind. We almost waited for 45mins for our order.

The first time we visited this place, I ordered the Thali. Never having tried Nepalese food before, I thought it would be a world of a difference but it was pretty much like the Indian thali. The “mutton set” came with Daal, Sabzi, mutton curry and Achaar(a potato pickle). It was good food, but nothing to write home about. The second time we visited this place, we ordered the thukpa and the momos and they both tasted awesome. The momos were steamed well and were fragrant and the thukpa was like food for the soul. The broth was flavourful and the noodles and veggies and chicken were cooked just right. This is going to be my new joint for comfort thukpa. The ambience could definitely do better and the service is okay. If you have to try it, I’d only recommend the thukpa.

The best momos (Nepalese dumplings) in Abu Dhabi and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The steamed momos are much better than the friend ones and the dipping sauce is fantastically spicy. (Note: Sea momo is not seafood, it’s momo in a sea of soup :-).
