I got dazzled with the Groupon offer for this place on sushi. It was a huge disappointment, the quality of the food was very low. The rice was over cooked and too sticky it over powered the taste of other ingredients. Shrimps were over cooked. You would barely see or taste the fillings (some were not even there) . Filled with unnecessary sauces that leaves you with upset tummy. The service was bad and not to mention that i called twice to confirm my reservation but ended up with no reserved table. Also, There was false advertising information about the food and beverages selection. To conclude, if you like to eat rice with mayo and sirarcha sauce that would be your place.

My friend and I decided to try the sushi out at this restaurant. We saw awesome deals on groupon and alot of food blogs mentioned this sushi spot. So we dined at this restaurant last week. We used the entertainer and ordered 4 plates of sushi. I must say it was delicious and we enjoyed it to the last bit. It’s just upsetting when the entertainer that we used says the drink is covered (buy 1 get 1). But when we were there the waitress informed us that it wasn’t included, also was quite fussy when we said we wanted to use the entertainer for the sushi. She said it was only applicable on the ramen dishes. But after a while gave in and let us order sushi rolls instead. So it wasn’t really our best experience to be honest.

Really delicious sushi. I suggest trying out the volcano roll, crazy california, and sweet and spicy prawn tempura roll. Great customer service as well. Only thing to be aware of is that the food will take time to be prepared. (40 minutes for four of us)

We’ve wanted to come here from quite some time, but because it is a little far, we always become lazy. Finally, after craving for some sushi and ramen, and the Groupon deal. We thought it was the best time to go. I bought an AED 200 voucher from Groupon worth AED 99. The restaurant is located inside the hotel in the lobby and opens only at 7:30 PM. The place is not crowded even on weekends, but orders might take time because there is only two staff available. The food was not the best, but it was good. Everything is freshly made, and we can see how the sushi’s are being prepared at the sushi counter. We also noticed that the two staff seems to have some problem with each other. We hope it gets sorted out.We recommend this place.

Went in to Taste of Asia for some sushi, well not some but lots. The place was a quiet not a lot of people, which is how i like it. The staff was nice. We ordered about 16 different rolls of sushi, of which some were pretty good others not so. I am not a fan of fried sushi, but then again thats my opinion. Overall i liked the place and the sushi. Good job coming from a small place. However i would like to mention that there was a hungry family that got violent with the staff for some reason, i thought that was a bit over the top. My point being go easy on the staff guys, they’re just doing their job.

Went in last weekend for a quiet drink & dinner after a long day at work. The place looks like a Thai restaurant that later reconverted into Asian, including Far Eastern offerings. I ordered a Scotch & a pan-fried chicken gyoza. And was going to go for a full meal. But the speed of the service & the constant, loud chatter between the waitress and the sushi chef put me off so much that I had to leave after just the appetiser. In all fairness, the appetiser tasted pretty good. I’m not surprised, however, that I was the only table there at dinner session on a Friday when the other restaurants in the same hotel were doing a fairly good crowd that same evening.
