Take away service is very poor here. they make you wait for over an hour and its still difficult if you don’t talk their language . I ordered for two three grilled fishes and they were all so soggy by the time i reached home .it all looked so mushy with the fishes pooled in the watery gravy.wonder what grill it is !never going there again !
Mina fish market is the place where you will get fresh live fish in Abudhabi for better deals. There are lots of restaurants in Mina fish market. Al shader is the one always busy with patrons. Al shader always having patrons. This place got nice lightings and ambience among others off-course tasty food n service tooWe started our dinner with their signature Shader soup. Soup was amazing. Its a perfect seafood soup with mussels , prawns , squid and crab. This four are my favourite items in seafood.We tried deep fried squid and Spicy grilled shrimps. Less preference to fried squids. Feels like eating something from KFC. We could have order something. Spicy shrimps medium are heaven. Very fresh ans tasty shrimps. Advice to those who reading my review – Shrimps are must order thing. Order sea bream also it is nice. Dont order anything deep fried like our order.They have indoor and outdoor seating. During night time outdoor will be perfect. Managed by arabic people. Kindly communicate properly to avoid misplaced orders.
Beautiful interior design but very cold inside the restaurant. helpful staff and gives me good suggestions for food. Resturant served a green salad really it was freshly cut cold and crisp vegetables so you feel freshness and it’s good with olive oil lemon dressing. Rest all food you can check in photos I already upload but I was little surprised I ordered prawn fried rice but it’s come drak brown in color but it’s was good not very dry. Mix Seafood was good and half kg shrimp was good for 2 people. Overall I was overeat because I loved seafood.Location – 7/10Food – 9/10Service – 8/10Interior design – 8/10Price – 8/10Beverage I didn’t try.
This Was the first time we decided to dine at Mina and we went to Al Shader. We ordered hummus, french fries, pickled eggplant and a kg of prawns. The star was definitely the prawns. So damn delicious!! Wanting to keep coming for more.This place is always crowded. There were people lined up to eat just here, luckily we came early and easily found a seat.

Its my favorite casual Sea food restaurant in Abu Dhabi, im never disappointed, whenever i have guests ir family visiting me in Abu dhbai i always take them to Al shader to have the perfect fresh seafood, and everyone love it! Al shader Seafood Soup is a must to try, also thr grilled shrimps are so yummy, and any fish you like you can order and request it grilled or fried and guess what they get all the fish just Fresh from the fish market directly. If you are a fan of crabs they do it perfectly and so delicious. Juat wanna add that in case you ordered a dish and took 30 minutes you should know that beacuse they prepare it fresh and they are always busy and have list of requests even for pickup order.
As much as I have tried restaurants around UAE, I have never seen a service worse than this. I can’t stress enough how disappointing it was to order from this restaurant, let alone the horrible food that was delivered. We firstly ordered for pickup. We called and we agreed that we will pick it up an hour later. We went and they kept telling us to go back and forth from one place to another claiming that they never received such order! and when I called again to the same number he said it will take 15 more minutes so I asked for delivery which was for 25 dirhams which’s considered very expensive, considering that the place is very close to the house. The delivery came 45 minutes later instead of 15, he added three other plates of things I never ordered. One of the plates I received had very clear leftovers of fish, fried burnt fish head, they were all completely black. I do not advice anyone to try this restaurant it is a complete disappointment and its even sad that such restaurant that is this disrespectful towards their customers to even be crowded.
