It was horribly a very bad experience and I won’t be going there again. The rounded Spec malabar guy had a very bad attitude and worst customer service. The food wasn’t fully cooked and they hesitated to take the comments.
We were craving some grilled prawns and decided to try this place. We had ordered Medium shrimp 1 kg, sea bream, egyptian brown rice and pickled eggplant. Food was great and so was the service. Good portions, value for money.
Overall it was a different experience. I am a big fan of having seafood. We had ordered Lobster, Fried Sultan Ibrahim, Shrimp (Medium). Fish and shrimp were really nice. They were soft and juicy. However lobster was not so great. It was over cooked, hard and very dry. The staff were friendly and the restaurant is pretty clean.
Reasonable prices for their seafood dishes. You can buy fresh seafood at the Mina Fish Market in this area and have them cook it for you for a cost. It’s the same supply of fresh seafood from the Mina Fish Market so it’s easier to let them choose what gets cooked since they price it by the weight. What they served us were grilled lobsters (yes 2 whole ones 😉 ) and half a kilo of grilled Sherry fish, and seafood chowder soup. The taste was spot on. Cooked just right and served with rice on the side. Friendly Filipino staff as well that helped us take the best items they offer with the best value.
It’s our first visit to the place. Simple settings, very friendly team and very tasty food. We got Mix Grill and were amazed how juicy and flavorful it was. Our daughter enjoyed her complimentary french fries. Thank you guys)
