This place doesn’t deserve a rating below 3 honestly. Their ambience is perfect, the staff were fine, their food was good (though it took a while). It wasnt mind blowing but then they deserve more than 3 stars anyway. The butterchicken was a bit too sweet, the paratha isnt worth it?! The biriyani didnt have much masala and the mutton kebabs didnt taste so good. ————————————————————Staff: (3/5)Ambience: (4/5)Food: (3/5)
Food was good. But service was bad. We had to ask for the plates and glasses when the food was already served. The staff didn’t know anything when we asked about the quantity of the food items and what item was good to order. He just said I don’t know but the ambiance and the place was good.

Whilst wondering through Al Seef we couldn’t help but stop at the little chai man outside Chota restaurant! He made some amazing chai for us and we sat outside on the comfy chairs and relaxed in the cold evening. The ambience here is so nice and I was shocked to see it so quiet! I’ll definitely be back for more chai soon!
When my cousin and I passed by @chotarestaurant we just could not walk away. The first thing that hits you is the super vibrant color scheme of one of the funkiest decor I’ve ever come across. You have no choice but to succumb to this throbbing vivacious kaleidoscope of warmth. The place itself seems to have an aura about it that emanates good vibes. The second part to look forward to is the pulsating Bollywood presence, with adorably whimsical references all over the place, from the menu to the artwork on the walls, every little detail demands your attention. I happen to love the amiability a Rajasthani themed palette brings along. This was perfect for me.As for the food, it’s quite obvious that the ingredients were fresh and of good quality, the flavours, to me, were subtle but wonderful. The aroma gets to you before the taste does which is a treat in itself. I highly recommend the Kofta Pulao and Chicken Tikka.
2 month before I visit this restaurant located inside of Al Seef village . Nice and beautiful decoration based on Indian Bollywood style good clean restaurant I order biryani they have only chicken biryani. biryani I can say not excellent even not bad 3/5 service was excellent. I order spicy biryani but Chef use red chilli powder for make my food spicy that I don’t like . my suggestion is that use green chilli paste for spicy food.
