Headed here to try the roast that everyone’s been raving about, but as luck may have it, its available only on the weekends (our mistake for not checking this ahead). We did however have the fisherman’s pie, poutine, fish n chips and filly cheese steak. Everything was ‘magnifique’. Tip: Monday is quiz night. We won a round of beers for topping the first round.
We went here for a company brunch and their grill was not working so we only had eggs for breakfast. It was okay. The ribs I ordered was really soft but it didn’t have any taste in it. No wow factor. Plus their waitress was a bit rude to us. It seems as if she didn’t like her job. We asked her is if they could do something about the flies as we were eating outside, and she told us that she couldn’t do anything about it but in a very rude way.
We wanted to have a traditional roast and it was yummy! Generous quantity with all the traditional sides and a delicious Yorkshire pudding! The meat could have been a bit more flavourful though, but all in all it was a satisfying meal.
A variety of draft beers. Nice place to watch matches on TV. Chicken wing went very well with draft beers. All the sports lover will gather around here.
