This was my third time coming to Cafe Arabia and the service was nothing like the first two times. I had taken a friend that came from out of the country and all I could talk about was how good the ‘Palestinian Shakshouka’ was, however, to my disappoint we were never able to try it. My table of four had to wait over an hour to get our drinks after speaking to four different staff members multiple times and by the time they came, they were completely wrong and when the time became 1.5 hours after our arrival we still did not receive our meals. Thus, we made the decision to leave without eating our meal as it seemed we would be waiting for another 45 mins because the staff was so hectic with one large table and could not accommodate the smaller tables around. I’m very disappointed! There was absolutely no acknowledgement from the staff about the delay or the mistakes.
The quality of the food is extremely low. My waiter did not know the difference between kofta and falafel until he called someone else to assist. I ordered foul mudamas which tasted like they came straight out of a supermarket tin. The Palestinian shakshouka was 70% tomato, eggs dumped inside which were extremely well done even though I asked for them to be runny, 4 pieces of feta cheese and two olives. If you’re going to charge me 57dhs then at least make something that I will enjoy. Finally i asked for the creamy alfredo penne. It wasn’t creamy, and it was tasteless. The food was very very poorly seasoned. It seems like either they ran out of salt or they don’t like using it. The key to good food is to season it well. This was my first time dining here, and it will surely be my last. Waitress Flor was apologetic, but if your head chef decides to take a break, the sous chef should be able to whip up a creamy pasta. You should be having regular tasting to rest your chefs and see how your waiters deal with customers. Take pride in the food you serve. I hope you will make changes.
15min after I ordered my food, waiter ask me to change my order because the Kofta its FROZEN and will take time to unfroze!! Unbelievable
Ridiculously slow service. We ordered chicken burger, kofta and fattoush and nothing was good. Kofta was way overfried. We had to wait ages for food to be prepared, it came one by one. So by the time my husband finished his meal, my father only got his. I had to cancel my food and left hungry cause it was too late! The worst cafe ever
Absolutely love the look of this place. Such cute spots. Tried the burgers which were average but heard quite a lot about their breakfast so will go back for that.
I was way around. Found this place in zomato rate 4.0. Not so familiar to abu dhabi just depended on zomato review. I loved the ambience. So ssso soo good❤️. Honestly speaking about food they have to improve a lot. Expensive as well.
i come to this place specifically for their exquisite breakfast and their healthy dishes, however i highly recommend booking a table beforehand as Cafe arabia is usually crowded
