It was an awful experience, we asked for sauce because it was mentioned that they had tartar sauce but they actually don’t have it and the staff’s behavior was not professional. Food tasted bad. We won’t come back anymore.
We used the Groupon voucher for Indian buffet. It didn’t meet our expectations or the other way spoiled the day. Food was tasteless except salads and desserts. Main course disappointed us too much . With the same money we spent, could have get a variety of tasty food elsewhere. Also the way they arrange the buffet was not in order, confusing. Fried rice and mutton curry was a bit okay. Will never go or suggest this restaurant.
I’d been here couple of times between 2014-15 for the Indian buffet, which is still on every Thursday, so I went again out of sheer curiosity to know what became of it. Obviously when you have something going on for so long, you either build on the feedback to improve things without staying in the past, or you do things exactly the way they were and hope ‘all is well’.I walked into an empty place on a Thursday evening at 8pm. I remember having a tough time getting a seat, even a booking, the last time I was here. We used a Groupon (AED 82 for Two with water & maybe soft drinks). Parking is plenty, so no worries on that. The ambience is still great, plenty of seating and well lit.The soup, starters and salads were really good. The salad had quite a lot of variety, it could’ve kept me going all night and was alone worth the money spent. The Indian theme was more for the mains than anything else, however I did wonder which part of India the Singaporean noodles and Kung Pao chicken were. But once you start going thru each item, you’re obviously going to be left with this confused palate wondering if you’re at the Indian buffet. I guess the name boards make matters worse, because you know that’s not what you’ve eaten. After eating the mains, I really wished I’d stuck to the salads. I appreciate their consistency, the food was bland and tasteless as it was many years ago, with their starters and salads being the only saving grace. The desserts were a hit and miss though, some were good and some weren’t, but you have no way of figuring out other than trying, and it doesn’t have name boards. If you’ve been thinking of giving this place a try, please do if you’ve got a voucher. There are definitely some elements that are value, it’s just that you need to do all the figuring out yourself. I’ve given a higher score just because of the starters and salads.
Went on the Abu Dhabi Full day City tour thereafter came Hungary for the buffet. Surely didn’t Dissapoint my great expectations. Being Vegetarian i was Still spoilt for choice
My review is only for their Christmas Dinner eve this year 2015 which was held in their 2 restaurants (Resto & 18 oz) so since the Filipino band will be located in Resto, we decided to book our reservation in Resto. We inquired several times regarding the Christmas menu and activities but only accommodated 2 days before the event as they aren’t decided and aware of the event. A bit disappointed with our table (bar section) which is far from the band. So let’s get started with the food. On the the fine print, it was mentioned that the food will be Asian Cuisine with a Filipino twist but we found mostly Indian foods than Filipino foods. Turkey was located in 18 oz together with the sides (Kamote que, banana turon, embotido and a lot more. Overall experience was average.
Food was good but space is little crunchy we had buffet for my relatives child’s birthday party starters where fried onion pakoda aloo pakoda and dal pakoda the soups where chicken shorba and mushroom soup main courses where mainly fish based rices where ok desert was cakes rlumali and jamuns altogether a small place with good food
The buffet was pretty average. The tables didnt have any cutlery or glasses. The food was decent and the service was alright. The butter chicken was very weirdly tasting and only the fish masala was good. The dessert was the only saving grace.
