Good place to rest and have food after wandering around in Al Qattara and Al Jimi Oasis. The quality of food is good and prices are reasonable. this is one of our goto places whenever we visit the area. Service is tad slow and although I’ve seen preferential treatment for arabic speakers I don’t know the current situation. The old pictures and antique decor adds a nice touch to the ambience. Though it’s was not a big issue my wife complained about Shisha smoke. But we were able to find a smoke free quiet corner.
Location is fabulous- inside a heritage building, next to an old fort, in the middle of a date palm oasis! You can’t visit Al Ain without a stop there. Qattara Oasis is one of the original oases and still today it is producing dates, a few mangoes, bananas, and maybe more. The restaurant is very large, with high ceilings, and also private booths are available. Food is Lebanese and not bad at all. Sheesha is also served, so avoid the evenings if the smell disturbs you. Grilled items are good, as are the usual salads and sides (hummous, motabel, baba ganouj, fetoush, etc.) A variety of historical items and photos are part of the decor. weekenduae.com
One of the hidden gem in Al Ain, serving the best Middle Eastern food in Al Ain. The location is awsome inside a old fort building inside Qattara Oasis , there are date palm nearby giving a perfect Heritage look. The Chicken Ouzi is must to have at this place
The middle Eastern cuisine served is awesome. Yummy food. Ambience is good, somehow giving traditional look. A lot of old photographs of AlAin and The UAE on the wall, gives clear idea about life in this part of the World long ago.The service is little slow. The staff has different treatments for Locals and Arabs, very polite buut they treat Asians differently which is very unprofessional.I ll recomend this place if someone want to try middle eastern cuisine.
