eid mubarak to everyone..when you fast for a month and you expect your holiday to be memory to remember..but u dont expect this memory to stay as a mark of pain ..had gone to pearl rotana hotel for eid holiday with my freinds and family..the hotel services were very satisfying..next morning after a late night fun evening..i woke up and went for buffet breakfast which was included with my room..due to holiday there were many people standing with there plates in a que..the que was so long that it would take us half hour to just reach for an omelete..if you would have a kept a live chicken ..it would hav hatched an egg for me in that duration..:pduring dat long walk of faith and hunger i came accross dishes which were kept under bright lights..it looked tempting so i just lifted the glass lid and my favorite right hand touched the light which above..a scrouching pain tremmered my brain membrane and shocked my reflexes..whn i saw what caused the pain..there was a red maroonish mark on my skin..the bright light was heating lamp and there was no safety grill or caution sticker emborssed on it..with my human rights and ego i had to complain to the management of the restaurant..MR RAJESH he came with a tense attitude and right forward said they were very sorry for this incident ..extremely sorryi just informed them that being an adult its ok for me to bear the pain ..but this should not effect other younger or elder customersthe manager said in his soft voice – “THIS HAPPENS WITH OUR STAFF OCCASIONALLY and the mark will disappear in future..and for the pain we can apply burning cream “this statement was very harsh and unmatured..this reflected the safety of their own staff and other customers..being the shaking and socializing hand..the mark will be a bump in my appereance . i hope my wrist watch doesnt feel bad..as the mark will be noticed first NOTE – customers who wish to visit this place in future ..plz carry a pair of safety gloves and burning cream :pDISCLAIMER- the image attached is not soothing for blisfull eyes, which craves for delicasy and art

Had booked Iftar evening with Saffron for our wedding anniversary. The Restaurant was really quite and had nice ambience. I would like to Thank the reservation guys who took my last minute request to accommodate us. The spread for Iftar buffet was Okay (Felt it could have been better – couldn’t take pictures of food), really liked desserts and Arabic sweets on the platter. I could rate this Restaurant a 3.5 on 5 for Taste, Quality and Price.. 4 on 5 on Service and Friendliness of the staff. Hopefully next time when I visit – it would be better.

Follow me on my IG @littlecheesybutstillgrateWent for a seafood night last thursday at Saffron located inside of Pearl Rotana in Abu Dhabi. Was surprised to find only myself a couple of other people at the buffet. There was a good spread of seafood, everything looked every appealing and the ambience was lovely. I did find the food very bland and almost saltless, felt as thoigh there was no seasoning on anything. The live cooking station was a good experience. I thoroughly enjoyedthe tempura and fried fish from there. The sushi wasn’t exceptional. The desserts were fantasticI would rate my experience a 3/5 at @pearlrotana

This review for the recent Iftar experience at Saffron, we reached 5 mins late to the iftar buffet, however the restaurant was packed with families and kids, but felt that restaurant wasnt able to manage the food refills, where many dishes got empty I’d have asked the waiter if they will refill! The ouzi meat disappeared almost the first 10 mins! and when it was refilled it was just a very small portion. 2 stars are missing due to: management of buffet and price to the offer. I should metion that staff were smiling and very friendly.

Been here for Christmas buffet and it quite a lavish experience. The buffet spread was extravagant and presentation wise was top notch. Starters and salads were amazing, loved their varieties of meat salads especially their Asian salad.Mains too had lots of varieties like beef steak, salmon, turkey, veg biriyani and so on, all were quite delicious. For desserts again there were plenty of delicious options, toothsome Christmas cakes, macaroons, cupcakes and the list goes on, which was pleasing to the eyes as well as our palate, relished all of it. Ambiance is lovely and service praise worthy, loved the overall experience and looking forward another visit here.
