We stayed in this Hotel for 2 nightsBreakfast was served in this Restaurant The service was top class Good thing was order for egg omelette was taken as soon as we started our breakfast This helped us a lot to enjoy our breakfastOption for vegetarian was less as my family members were vegetarian Upma was served with sambar The bread selection was greatAmbience 4Service 5Location 3.5Quality 3.5
Had breakfast here and really loved it .What really stood out is the ever smiling staff who go the extra mile in meeting your requirements. The order for eggs are taken at your table (which is good). They have a good selection of non vegetarian breakfast items apart from the usual bread varieties, pancakes and waffles. The Indian dish (semiya )and Upma which was served on different days were not upto the mark.
Lovely Friday brunch. Super kid friendly, they have a play room with attendants and step stools in the bathrooms. The service for adults is great, and I loved the food carts that come around to your table. The venue is also beautiful and lots of choice for desserts.
We took a chance as the hotel hasn’t been open long. We decided to go to the brunch Crust we all now really regret this decision. If you want an overpriced kindergarten that’s absolute chaos with shocking service then Crust is for you. We finally got to the point, it just wasn’t worth pointing out the numerous issues and looked forward to leaving. They appear to have no idea what they want to be and end up doing nothing right. The food is actually quiet good, if you can get it because of the queues, lack of serving instruments and staff who have no idea what they are serving. Getting a drink was unbelievable difficult. The so called management and service staff all need to be replaced or completely retrained. We will ensure never to return as there are numerous brunches that offer so much more.
The first thing you realize when you find your way through the lobby of the brand-spanking-new Four Seasons on Mariyah Island, inferring that you have to take an elevator up to the first floor (like the non-telepaths we are, we had to ask the reception staff), eager to start your brunch at 12 sharp, are the closed doors of Crust. This Friday brunch eschews the norms and doesn’t open for another half hour. Looking to establish itself among the entrenched elite of Abu Dhabi’s brunch scene, the so-called Friday Best Brunch at the Four Seasons has to set itself apart. Like a new friend trying to win your affection, it has a few tricks up its sleeve. With a promise of tantalizing stations making their rounds through the brunch, we were justifiably excited. But once the doors are opened, you’re immediately greeted by a brunch that tastefully put is quaint. With the brunch occupying about a third of the restaurant’s space, the rest was filled with your average restaurant chairs. We had initially reserved the table by the window (the one that is so prominently featured on their website), however, we quickly had to change tables once we discovered that it was right at the back of the restaurant and too close to the kid’s area for our comfort. This was our first interaction with the very accommodating and very Italian restaurant manager Andrea. He quickly reseated us at the front of the buffet and took us on a tour of the brunch’s wares. With an amazingly well-stocked cheese selection (with a pairing of port, no less) and a raw bar that took up about a fourth of the buffet’s total space, we were eager to get sampling. However, Andrea assured us that the best was yet to come. Literally. The chefs would be coming around with carts, offering morsels of items not available on the buffet. Talk about table service. We sat back down, had our complimentary glass of spritz, and awaited the onslaught of food. All things considered, the Friday brunch at Crust in the Four Seasons Abu Dhabi ticks all of the boxes. The wide array of food and drink, alongside a novel service idea, are sure to make for stiff competition against the established Abu Dhabi brunch elite. However, this brunch for some reason also seems to bring with it a grand amount of families. Of course, if you are a family, this is fantastic news. If you are instead looking for a brunch free of children, look elsewhere. The novel concept that the brunch employs is also its biggest downfall. While having table service is nice and the food is undeniably fantastic, the haphazard order and the inability to really have any control detract from the excitement.Overall, a great brunch that I would recommend to friends, but with caveats. foodielayover.com
Crust has a nice airy and well lit soothing venue. The complimentary bread is fluffy and fresh but nowhere as delicious as the bread at the Beirut Four Season Grill Room. I ordered my NY steak medium, yet it came very very well done (as in desiccated). The side hollandaise was helpful in objecting some life into the charred corpse in my plate. The paprika fries that came with it were excellent and crunchy. I washed everything down with some wonderful Rioja. My friend seemed to enjoy her Hamour filet. If it weren’t for the steak blunder, I would have given it a solid 4.
