i visited this restaurant very recently, i like the place, ambience is nice, and food is bit expensive, but taste is good, service is fast and staff is very freindly, one can visit this restaurant for sure
took my mom and sister there to get dessert after a bad experience at eclipse. majlis is also very expensive and extremely small portions but the ambience and sweets we’re good and of a beautiful presentation. not too crowded most of time.
I was really disappointed for such a fancy hotel not to have much vegetarian options for the afternoon mini sandwiches!! You end up paying AED 180 Just to get cucumber and cheese !! Really disappointed.. the rating is only for the service and view.. nothing else.. there are many other hotels with huge vegetarian mini sandwich options..* Will I go back again!! Yes!! BUT not for the afternoon tea..
One of the best afternoon tea with a view.Enjoyed free floating drinks which is a plus point. All the items tasted good and were fresh too.Service was amazing. Will definitely go again..
One of the best afternoon teas in Abu Dhabi. I am surprised the rating is lower on zomato. We spent a lazy afternoon here and the staff was very warm and welcoming. The view is lovely and the afternoon tea set is quite elaborate. The set includes scones with marmalade, jam and a very nice thick serving of clotted cream. The savory snacks included a smoked salmon finger sandwich, a very tasty sun dried tomato, pesto and cream cheese mini burger. I selected the Peach Bellini drink which was very unique. It was a serving of ginger ale with a popsicle which is dipped into the ale. It was very refreshing. The desserts were a stand out. The green tea cake had several layers of different textures. The white soft cake was one of the best ones I tasted ( Not sure what its called ). Would definitely recommend a visit here.
After we checked out of Rosewood, we decided to spend a pleasant afternoon here having snacks and good conversation. We didn’t actually sit inside, instead we decided to sit outside where there’s fresh air and a nice view of the city and the water (sea?). They also served us there. Their staff are friendly and accommodating and have an extensive knowledge of their menu. Their food is delicious and their food presentation is appetizing. A good place to hangout and just enjoy the afternoon.
Majlis is Rosewood’s lobby lounge that is comfortable and has a nice ambience. The large windows and piano playing make it a special experience. We went for afternoon tea and had a pleasant experience. I got a coffee and my wife got a tea- both very nice and we enjoyed them very much. Unfortunately, we were not wowed by the food products. The sandwiches, pastries, and cakes were fine, but nothing particularly amazing. My recommendation is to come for tea, piano music, and the view. And if you’re looking for a pairing for your coffee/tea, skip the full tea frills and just get a scone.
